마리노프 미로슬라프.

I was brought up in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, and attended the Math High School “Acad. Kiril Popov”. There I completed by High School education, with a diploma of 5.92 (out of 6.00) and a mark of 6.00 in the Mathematics exam. In 2016 I was accepted to Oxford University to read Mathematics; I have just finished my first year there. Some subjects required me to get familiar with aspects from the British style of High School Mathematics, thus I claim to have enough experience on these, as well.

My main experience is connected to Olympiad schemes in Bulgaria. All the teaching started in my last year of high school (i.e. in 2015) and continues currently. My first lectures were in Plovdiv, for preparation for the National Olympiad, to people aged 13-14. I have also given multiple lectures (mainly in Geometry, sometimes in Number Theory and Algebra) at preparations of national teams for some of the most important international Olympiads in Bulgaria, namely JBMO, EGMO, IMO. Other places I have been invited to give lectures are two camps for children aged 11-14, and twice at the High School of Mathematics in Burgas. I also have accepted problem proposals at some Bulgarian competitions, as well as at JBMO 2016. In any case, I am always trying the topic to contain interesting (and most importantly, useful) concepts, which are at the required level for the students, and at the same time not to be very similar to something they have seen before. Usually when I know what is the upcoming particular olympiad, I am definitely trying to give problems which are as close as possible to the style of the olympiad, so that the students can get familiar with the difficulty and how to think, say, at Problem 1, and at Problem 6.
